Uli Aumüller


an apprenticeship as a sound technician (for the Psychological Defense of the Bundeswehr / West Germany) and the study of biology and New German Literature (master's thesis on the poet of the Silesian High Baroque D.v.Lohenstein) led him first to the theater (Munich, Landshut, Mühlheim an der Ruhr, Bruchsal) and then to radio drama.

Since moving to Berlin in the early 1990s, he has lived as a freelance author and director of radio features on contemporary music (since then, over 250 productions of broadcasts longer than 30 minutes for DS-Kultur, Deutschlandfunk Deutschlandradio Berlin, BR, HR, MDR, WDR, SDR, SFB, SR), since 1993 also for television.
