Gösta Courkamp
initially studied business administration in Hamburg after graduating from high school, then moved to Munich and worked there as a dramaturg and artistic director at several theaters and theater festivals in Munich during and after completing his studies in theater studies, politics and German language and literature before moving to the Westfälisches Landestheater WLT as chief dramaturg and deputy artistic director.
He wrote numerous plays and revues and joined the company inpetto filmproduktion in 2000. Gösta Courkamp lived in Hattingen/Ruhr (inpetto-west).
He passed away after a long illness on 31.07.2023.
