Three choirs sing works in the more than 100-years-old Ghanaian choral tradition

Three choirs - the Abbeka Presbyterian Church Choir, the Nyame Adehyeman Sacred Choral Group and the chimota High School Choir sing works in the more than 100-years-old Ghanaian choral tradition which combine African lyrics and rhythms with polyphonic structures originating from Europe. These recordings were done in 1994, during the research for our tv-documentary "Composers under the tree of God – Art-Music in Ghana" (Bayerisches Fernsehen, 1995)
